App: Chausar Publisher: GPCO. Effective date: 22 May 2026 Last updated: 26 June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how GPCO. ("we", "us", "our") handles
information in connection with the Chausar mobile application ("the App"). By
installing or using the App you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please
do not use the App.
1. Summary
Chausar is a board game that can be played without creating an account. We do
not run our own user account system and we do not operate our own backend
servers for gameplay data. Game progress and settings are stored locally on
your device.
The App uses third-party services, including Google AdMob for advertising and
Google Play Billing for optional purchases such as removing ads. These services
may collect or share limited user data as described below and in Google's
privacy policy.
2. Information stored locally on your device
The App stores the following information on your device using Android's
PlayerPrefs / SharedPreferences. This local gameplay
data is stored on your device:
Game progress (XP, coins, rank, achievements unlocked).
Game settings (audio volume, haptics, rule preferences).
Player names you enter for local play.
Items you have purchased or equipped in the in-game shop.
Your privacy choices (whether you accepted this policy, ad-personalisation preference).
To delete this local data, uninstall the App or clear the App's storage through
your device settings.
3. Accounts and information we do NOT collect directly
We do not require or allow you to create an account in the App.
We do not directly collect your name, email, phone number, or address.
We do not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
We do not use cookies (the App is not a website).
4. Permissions the App requests
The App may request the following Android permissions:
Vibration — used to provide haptic feedback when you capture an
opponent piece, score a pawn, or win a game. You can disable haptics anytime in
the App's Settings.
Internet — used for advertising, Google Play Billing, and
related service communication.
5. Children's privacy
Chausar is a general-audience board game. We do not knowingly collect personal
information directly from children. Third-party services used by the App may
process limited data as described in this Policy and in their own privacy
policies.
6. Third-party services
The App uses Google services to support ads and optional purchases:
Google AdMob is used to show ads. Google Mobile Ads may
collect and share data such as approximate location derived from IP address,
app interactions, diagnostics, and device or other identifiers. This data may
be used for advertising or marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, security,
and compliance.
Google Play Billing is used for optional purchases, including
purchases that remove ads. Google Play may process purchase history and
payment-related information. We do not receive your full payment card or bank
details.
Inside the App you can choose whether to allow personalised ads. This choice
is stored on your device and respected by our ad-loading code.
7. Data collected or shared by third-party services
Based on the services used by the App, the following categories may be collected
or shared:
Approximate location - collected and shared by Google AdMob, typically derived from IP address.
App interactions - collected and shared by Google AdMob, such as ad interactions and app usage events.
Diagnostics - collected and shared by Google AdMob, such as SDK and app performance information.
Device or other identifiers - collected and shared by Google AdMob, such as advertising ID or app set ID where available.
Purchase history - collected when you choose to make an optional Google Play purchase.
Data transmitted by Google Mobile Ads is encrypted in transit using Transport
Layer Security (TLS). Other Google Play service communications also use secure
connections.
8. Your rights and choices
You have the right to:

in-game data described in section 2, all visible in the App itself.
Delete local App data by uninstalling the App or clearing
the App's storage through your device settings.
Withdraw or change consent for personalised ads at any time
via the App's Settings → "Manage Privacy".
Contact us with any privacy-related question or deletion
request at the email address below.
9. Data retention
Local game data is retained on your device until you uninstall the App or
clear its data through your device's settings. We do not retain gameplay data
on our own servers because we do not operate any. Third-party services retain
data according to their own policies.
10. International users
The App is available globally. Third-party services such as Google may process
data in countries other than your own, according to their own privacy policies
and applicable law.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top
